As a woman and a fan of the
#gohabsgo, I’m disappointed.
What he did is disgusting and inexcusable.
I do believe in 2nd chances and I hope the kid becomes a better human being than what his past has proven him to be.
And my heart goes out to the victim and her family.
At the end of the day hockey is a business take the best player available. Work with him to fix the situation when someone is 17 their whole life can’t be ruined because of something they did. Glass is always half full
Hey, I’m not about cancel culture. I know i’m ashamed of many things I’ve done in the past; nothing as bad as what he did, but still Most people deserve a 2nd chance and I hope he betters himself and proves that the second chance he’s been given isn’t a waste
Problem is there’s no punishment ! Zero! Second changes maybe but right now zero consequences for his actions . Victim on the other hand
This is exactly where I am. It’s not binary, and there are multiple components. I’m doubtful that these will be addressed in a productive or healing way for the most part.

That isn’t going to happen. Money won’t make her pain go away and everything is already out in the open. Hopefully she can heal and move forward.
The best punishment and chance to rehabilitate himself is being selected by Montreal. He’ll be under the microscope. Don’t forget he was only 17. Also, do you remember P. Kane, P. Roy, A. Matthews, etc...?
