The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot has subpoenaed several former Trump advisers, but will they respond? Former federal prosecutor
@glennkirschner2 explains the legal implications.
we don't need experts here... we need to know WHAT THE COMMITTEE WILL DO TO ENFORCE THESE SUBPOENAS...
I would like to think this committee is not going to full around they are going for it!
What happens when someone doesn't show up when they're served a subpoena?pic.twitter.com/4WaZgZij8k
I have a better idea. Arrest them for the crimes they committed. This is just ridiculous
It’s not a choice; it’s a requirement. They refuse at their own peril.
Hear this: MSM needs to quit offering up (to R’s) the right to break laws!

I hate using the words we're F*ed. Step1, they will take the subpoenas to appear before the Jan 6th inquiry to court. Step2, if they lose they may invoke the 5th, the right to not self incriminate. This pushes everything down the road maybe months, who will still be remembering?
Subpoenae argued in court? Stall stall stall 'republi con' stall default tactic.
Willful noncompliance to a Congressional subpoena constitutes inherent contempt of Congress. There must be some procedure or mechanism to enforce individuals who refuse to comply with a lawful order to appear before Congress. Perhaps a Federal court order with US Marshalls.
